Visited there today Jan. 31, 2013. Having lived in Gemany for three years I really missed authentic German food. This was jusy like being back in Germany. The ambiance, food and music was terriffic. We had a great waitress and will definately return. There were six of us and each haad a different dinner selection.including desert. we all agreed on how great the experience was.
What are your prices for your beer and wine? Also, on Friday nights there is a large group of couples that meet at the Elk’s lodge and do dinner after 7:00pm. What could your restaurant accomodate? Normally our group is from 6 all the way up to 14 couples.

Once again a delightful evening and our taste buds were totally satisfied.The dumpling appetizer is fantastic but of course so is everything on the menu.Authetic food and nice to hear German music in the background.

My husband and I had a late lunch yesterday (around 3:30 p.m.) so Edelweiss wasn’t crowded. Our friends had eaten there a week earlier and HIGHLY recommended it. I can’t say enough about the food or the service. We hadn’t had German food but the menu explained most dishes and our waitress (Eddie) was extremely helpful and friendly. From what we have heard from other friends, the lunch and dinner crowds are large and the parking lot is VERY small, so your best bet to try Edelweiss is mid-afternoon. We had the Schnitzel (pounded pork, pan fried) with pan fried potatoes and the cucumber salad. Picture a plate covered with food, that’s how large the portions are. The Schnitzel was addictive; just when you thought you couldn’t eat another bite, you did. The desserts look wonderful, but we were too stuffed to try them. Lots of leftovers for sandwiches, so you really get your money’s worth.
